Large Bowl of Adventurine Blue and Clear Checkerboard Pattern

This stunning bowl would be a perfect addition to a coffee table or centerpiece on a dining room table, both artistic for display and functional for use as it is food safe.
A checkerboard pattern comprised of squares of clear, white and adventurine blue a 17th century technique developed on Murano Island by Venice, distinguished by its special look of sparkles inside translucent glass and  white are layered.
If placed in the path of light, the adventurine blue glistens.
Returned to the kiln on a mold for an additional firing the deep bowl shape is formed.
